Ag. Ioannis – Porto is a seaside settlement, only 6 km from Tinos. In the area you will find many beaches, some of them organized, restaurants and mini markets.
Tinos belongs to the insular complex of Cyclades and is the largest religious center in Greece. The church of Panagia Evangelistria lies just a few meters from the island’s port and attracts thousands of tourists every year, especially on the date of the Dormition of Virgin Mary (August 15).
The island has many traditional villages, significant sites to see and endless sandy beaches. During the last years, Tinos has become also know for the music festivals and other events that appeal to all ages and satisfy all preferences.
